The weather is definitely capricious and unpredictable. After a dry, sunny spell, the rain returned on Tuesday April 15. So what can we expect over the long weekend in Paris and the Paris region?
With Easter Monday just around the corner, many French people are planning to make the most of their three-day weekend. But will the sun be out? Will it be possible to enjoy a pleasant stroll in Paris and the Île-de-France region? According to Météo France forecasts, egg hunts could well be spoiled by a series of showers.
We start with Saturday, April 19, when gray skies are forecast for the whole of the Ile-de-France region in the morning. Worse still, rain is expected to arrive in the afternoon and continue into the evening. Thundershowers are also forecast for the south of Seine-et-Marne in the afternoon. Temperatures will be very mild. Expect between 12°C and 15°C in the morning, then between 17°C and 19°C in the afternoon.
For Sunday April 20, 2025, a day marked by several egg hunts, the weather is expected to be mixed, with very cloudy skies in the morning, but possible sunny spells in the west of the Paris region and in the inner suburbs. On the other hand, a few drops of rain could fall in Seine-et-Marne and northern Essonne. In the afternoon, these clear skies should spread to the east of the region, including Seine-et-Marne. However, a few raindrops are forecast for the south of the Île-de-France region. As for the mercury, it will be much the same, with temperatures fluctuating between 12°C and 14°C in the morning, then between 14°C and 16°C in the afternoon.
Finally, what can we expect this Monday, April 21, a public holiday? According to Météo France, it promises to be a wet day. A few light showers are expected over a large part of the Ile-de-France region in the morning. There will be little change in the afternoon, when the sun may come out and offer a few clear spells. Temperatures will remain stable, between 12°C and 13°C in the morning, then between 14°C and 16°C in the afternoon.
Of course, these forecasts are subject to confirmation in the days ahead. So stay tuned! But one thing's for sure: whatever the weather, there's still plenty to do this long weekend!
