This is an unavoidable investment according to Paris Authorities. In 2023, the streets of the city will feature 315 new CCTV cameras. The news was broken in 20 Minutes daily. These cameras are to improve the safety of the sixty-three “priority” sites in the 13th, 15th, 18th and 19th arrondissements. Paris deputy mayor Nicolas Nordman told a press conference he wants to issue twice as many tickets in 2023.
