Paris: Delacroix museum closed for about a month

If you planned to visit Paris Musée Delacroix in the coming weeks, then you might change your plans. The famous monument located in the 6th arrondissement is temporarily closing for a month or so, for renovations.

Staple museum in Paris devoted to the famous French painter, Musée Delacroix is temporarily closing this winter for renovations. As announced on its website, the Musée Delacroix will be closed from January 24 to February 17, 2023, or nearly four weeks.

If you love this cultural venue located in Paris 6th arrondissement, note the museum will reopen on February 18, with a new themed hanging: Delacroix and Arts. “A mysterious bridge.

And now and until January 23, the Musée Delacroix arouses your curiosity with the “Delacroix and color” show, an exhibit displaying the artist’s most colorful paintings.

For the record, the Musée Delacroix is found in Eugène Delacroix’s former flat and studio. Through this very beautiful and rich collection gathering about a thousand pieces, the museum delivers a genuine and incredible dive into the artist’s universe. Discover his paintings, drawings, etchings, manuscripts, as well as objects that used to be his, and the creations of artists he inspired.

If you are in a hurry, you have until January 23 to visit the Musée Delacroix in Paris. Or, you will have to wait until February 18, 2023.
