Between cars, terraces and stores, noise is omnipresent in Paris, and the capital is recognized as the noisiest in Europe. However, not all arrondissements are so noisy, and rental management website Flatlooker has carried out a study to determine which arrondissements are the quietest. The study was reported by Le Figaro Immobilier.
To produce this ranking, Flatlooker assessed the decibel level perceived in 1,500 homes in the various arrondissements, with the windows open. The 2nd arrondissement, the quietest, has a sound intensity of 42.3 decibels, while the 18th, the noisiest, has a sound intensity of 59.1 decibels. Now you know where to look for your home if quietness is your priority!
