This Monday, September 25, a major breakdown on the RER C is severely disrupting commuters' journeys. The incident, which occurred at the Pont de l'Alma, is interrupting traffic between Juvisy and Versailles Château Rive-Gauche until 10:15 am. This situation requires reorganization for the passengers concerned.

A breakdown on the installations at Pont de l'Alma has brought the RER C to a standstill, causing a break in traffic between Juvisy and Versailles Château Rive-Gauche. Traffic was interrupted in the early hours of the morning, posing a serious challenge to commuters and other traffic. A return to normal is expected around 10:30, but the wait could prove long for many.

The stations at Savigny sur Orge, Epinay sur Orge, Ste Geneviève des Bois, and St Michel sur Orge remain inaccessible in the direction of St Martin d'Etampes / Dourdan until 10:30. Alternatives are now available to compensate for this sudden interruption.

Passengers are invited to use alternative lines, even though they may be more congested, wherever possible. Consult the real-timeinformation on our digital platforms to keep abreast of developments.

A passenger has also been reported unwell at Meudon Val Fleury station on a train bound for Dourdan la Forêt, which is currently at a standstill. A further disruption that could well lead to further delays.

Pending a return to normal on RER C, adaptability and System D are the order of the day. Efforts are being made to minimize the impact of this incident and ensure a rapid restoration of traffic.
