The Préfecture de Police de Paris has therefore issued a decree instituting a protective perimeter and a number of other measures, regulating access and the movement of people and vehicles around the famousArc de Triomphe monument. The measures will come into force this Saturday at 3pm.
" On Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, a protection perimeter will be set up, within which access and movement of people and vehicles will be regulated, under the conditions set out in the present order ", explains the Prefecture.
In this decree, the Préfecture de Police provides further details. " The protection perimeter is thus delimited by the following roads, which are included in it, unless otherwise stated ":
In addition, access points to the perimeter will be equipped with pre-screening and screening devices for pedestrians. They will be located :
In addition, " all gatherings of a protest nature " will be prohibited within this protected perimeter. To gain access to this perimeter, people will have to pass through screening and pre-screening points, where they will be required to undergo checks, baggage inspection and security palpations.
