Bad news for users of line 6. RATP has announced further disruptions on this busy Paris metro line. What are the consequences? Work on the line will result in both total and partial closure of line 6 this autumn. We tell you all about it.
Due to modernization work, traffic will be completely interrupted on line 6, between Charles de Gaulle - Étoile and Nation, from October 18 to October 19, 2025. During these two days of closure, replacement buses will run between Charles de Gaulle - Étoile and La Motte Picquet-Grenelle stations, then between Nation and Daumesnil.
Another closure, another date, this time with traffic partially interrupted between Place d'Italie and La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle from Monday 20th to Thursday 30th October 2025 inclusive, i.e. during the All Saints' vacation.
During this construction period, Cambronne, Sèvres-Lecourbe, Pasteur, Montparnasse-Bienvenüe, Edgar Quinet, Raspail, Denfert-Rochereau, Saint-Jacques, Glacière and Corvisart stations will be inaccessible to passengers. La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle station will then become the temporary terminus for passengers arriving from Charles de Gaulle - Étoile. Conversely, Place d'Italie will be the temporary terminus for passengers coming from Nation.
