It had become a gathering place for many metal music lovers in Paris. After just over 5 years of existence, Hellfest Corner is about to close its doors for good. The establishment shared this sad news on its social networks this Tuesday, June 24, 2025. " While the gates of hell have just closed in Clisson (only to reopen from June 18 to 21, 26), the boudoir of Parisian hell is getting ready to lower the curtain for good ," reads the message. The bar, which opened in 2019 under the impetus of the famous metal festival held every summer in Clisson, cites, among other things, difficulties linked to the Covid health crisis.
We recall that the Hellfest Corner had been inaugurated in the Halles district in November 2019. Located at N°37 rue Quincampoix, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, the bar was decorated in the image of the festival, with unique pieces by Bungalow Bunker. In the basement, the Hellfest Corner housed a shop selling Hellfest and Hellfest Corner merchandise, as well as vinyl, jewelry and books. The venue also organized events and meetings with selected artists.
Since Hellfest Corner opened in autumn 2019, many artists and personalities have pushed through its doors. These include Bruce Dickinson, Aldebert, Igorrr, Loudblast, Ultra Vomit, Tagada Jones, Shaârghot, Perturbator, Alcest, Mass Hysteria, Lofofora, Kreator, Shaka Ponk and Motörhead's Lucas Fox.
A new page has been turned for the many metalheads who used to gather there to discuss music and concerts past and future, while listening to big sounds and sipping a good beer. But Hellfest Corner doesn't intend to close the curtain without saying goodbye. The bar is therefore organizing a final evening this Thursday, June 26, 2025, to look back on fond memories and meet up one last time in this Parisian bar, which has become a haunt for many.
