Since Tuesday, July 15, theA1 freeway, the key route between Paris and Lille, has been subject to night-time closures on a section north of Roissy. The aim is to allow the SNCF to build a railway structure over the motorway, as part of the Roissy-Picardie link project. The result: eight nights of disruption scheduled until August 1.
The closures are spread over three distinct periods, with specific times depending on the direction of traffic.
The section affected is between the Survilliers n°7 interchange and theA1/N104 interchange. Detour routes are set up every night to assist drivers.
These night-time interruptions are intended to ensure the safety of workers during the installation of a railway bridge deck. This structure will enable the future Roissy-Picardie link, currently under construction, to cross the A1. This structuring project will link the north-east of Val-d'Oise to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle station via a high-speed TER line.
If you need to reach Roissy-CDG airport, allow a safety margin of at least 30 minutes on the nights concerned. Remember to :
The last night of closure is scheduled from July 31 to August 1. From the morning of August 1, traffic should resume as normal on the A1. However, other works linked to the Roissy-Picardie line will continue in the area.
In short, if you're driving at night between Paris and Lille until August 1, watch out for temporary closures on the A1 between Survilliers and the N104. Deviations, variable timetables and patience are essential, especially if you're going on vacation or need to catch a plane.
