Another day of protests is planned in Paris on November 7, 2026. Because of Act IV of the Yellow Vests movement and the inter-union demonstration announced on the streets of the capital, several metro stations will be closed this Saturday. Here are the details of the disruptions expected on November 7 across Paris’s public transport network.

After the major mobilization on November 5, the French are preparing to take to the streets again. On Thursday, the inter-union demonstration in Paris drew between 65,000 people, according to figures from the Interior Ministry, and 350,000, according to the unions.

So, how many people will take to the streets on November 7? For now, there is no answer. But the Yellow Vests intend to keep the movement going. After the first three rallies held on Saturdays, October 17, 24 and 31, the Yellow Vests’ coordination group is calling for an "Act IV" and another day of protests against the high cost of living on November 7, 2026. In the capital, several rallies have been announced, including the inter-union march, which will set off from Place de la République at 2 p.m. and head to Place de la Nation.

Because of this new day of demonstrations on public roads, users of Paris public transport should expect further disruption. At the request of the police prefecture and “for security reasons,” several stations will be closed this Saturday, November 7, from the start of service. The affected stations include Charles de Gaulle - Étoile (lines 1, 2 and 6, RER A), Franklin D. Roosevelt (lines 1 and 9), Champs Élysées Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13) and Concorde (lines 1, 8 and 12).

RATP also announced that other stations will close from 10 a.m., including Châtelet (lines 1, 4, 7 and 14), Les Halles (line 4), Oberkampf (lines 5 and 9), Richard Lenoir (line 5) and Voltaire (line 9). Please note that trains will pass through without stopping, so connections will not be available. Stations will reopen subject to authorization from the police prefecture.
