The lineup for this 2026 Night at the Museums at the Irish Cultural Centre:

  • Exhibition Clare Langan | Earthbound
    Saturday, May 23, 2026 — 8:00 PM ⤏ 11:59 PM

The CCI is thrilled to present a new multi-screen cinematic installation, Earthbound, by Clare Langan.

Described as a meditation on memory, extinction, and the imprint of human presence, this visually striking piece unfolds in a world altered by the looming effects of a future ice age and what stirs as the ice recedes. As permafrost melts, a lone figure rises from the depths of a glacier in search of life, uncovering the remnants of a vanished world—fossilized animals, insects, and shards of human detritus. Filmed in collaboration with renowned cinematographer Robbie Ryan (Poor Things and The Favourite by Yorgos Lanthimos), this immersive work offers a timely reflection on the fragile bond between humanity and the natural world in the age of climate crisis and mass extinction.
