A Nuit des Musées under the banner of health and history—does that pique your interest? Head to the Musée de l'AP-HP, l'Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris, perched in Kremlin-Bicêtre, Val-de-Marne. For the 22nd edition of this cultural event, the museum offers free, after-dark visits on Saturday, May 23, 2026. A historic and artistic museum opened in 1934, inviting you to explore paintings and other works centered on medicine.

With "Musée de France" status, the Musée de l'AP-HP is under the dual supervision ofAssistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris and the French Ministry of Culture. A total of 13,000 works and objects, representative of hospital life from the Middle Ages to the present day, are present in the museum's collections, some of which are on display to visitors. For those who can't or don't want to come to the museum, the collection catalog is available digitally, offering a representative selection of the museum's collections.

And regarding the Nuit des Musées, the annual arts event is back this year for its 22nd edition, inviting Parisians, Île-de-France residents and passing visitors to discover their favorite museums after dark, free of charge.
