The Musée des Égouts de Paris is taking part in the new Nuit des Musées, not to be missed this Saturday, May 17, 2025. On the program? Free , immersive tours of the museum by night. An opportunity to find out more about this place, which encourages visitors to discover the close relationship between the upper and lower levels of the city.
As soon as you enter the underground section, you'll find your way around the area and discover an immersive museum beneath your feet. Visitors are immersed in the essential work of cleaning and maintaining sewers, then learn about the challenges of water regulation and treatment to protect the environment and the river, while walking above working sewers.
Throughout the visit, visitors can also discover the museographical tour, models, interactive educational animations and multimedia, to better understand the major challenges of Parisian sanitation from yesterday to tomorrow.
