L'Espace Monte-Cristo welcomes you for a very special visit this Saturday, May 23, 2026. On the occasion of the Night of Museums, discover the current exhibition with exclusive tours! Ready for this cultural after-hours in Paris?

TheEspace Monte-Cristo is located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Père-Lachaise cemetery. Dedicated tocontemporary art, especially sculpture, it regularly hosts exhibitions, special tours and creative workshops. But that's not all. The Espace Monte-Cristo also takes part in the capital's major cultural events, such as the Nuit des Musées.

La Nuit des Musées is an annual event designed to showcase museums (no surprises here), their collections and the knowledge they contain. For one evening, art and cultural venues open their doors to the general public to showcase their treasures, with tours, events, concerts, games... It's a chance to discover little-known museums, or to learn more about places you thought you knew by heart?

So, how well do you know the Espace Monte-Cristo and its collections? To find out, treat yourself to the special tour organized on May 23, 2026, for the 22nd Night of Museums. Here is the detailed program for the evening at Espace Monte-Cristo.

What’s on for this Night of Museums 2026 at Espace Monte-Cristo:

  • Across the tales, imagination is shared!
This year, the Diseuses de Silence exhibition spotlights poignant and inspiring narratives, told through the voices of 21 sculptresses. Intone, speak, sing, talk, denounce, hum, express, recount… For European Night of Museums, Espace Monte-Cristo invites you, naturally, to an event centered on words and imagination. A unique, immersive, and sensitive storytelling experience. For the exhibition’s very first nocturnal opening, you’ll explore the works in an atmosphere where each sculpture reveals itself as you wander… Three storytelling segments will pace the evening, offering attentive ears and curious minds a captivating narration of traditional tales. From diverse cultures, the stories will highlight brave, free, and audacious women who dare to speak up and act. Each storytelling session will resonate with the exhibition, with the audience, and with the moment’s energy, creating an experience that is as close as possible to those who listen—you!
Isabelle will be your storyteller. Thanks to her, the tales come alive with magic and poetry. She tells stories for everyone at the museum, in schools, libraries, or the theater. She uses her background as a psychologist to combat exclusion from reading by words. Driven by a desire to share and spread the pleasure of orality, she also teaches, leads gatherings, and participates in debates. You are invited to dive into universes embodied by her voice and interpretation, an invitation to embark on a genuine journey!
To walk through the night together, we also invite you to enjoy a soft, welcoming moment throughout the evening where each person can discover makeup that reveals itself at dusk! Whether you’re a witch at heart, vigilant like a sentinel, or strong like a caryatid, this makeup will add a touch of magic to your evening and allow everyone to embody a figure from the exhibition that resonates with their inner self.

Entrance is free all evening. You don’t need to register to participate in the event. However, to welcome you best, please let us know you’re coming. We look forward to seeing many of you and can’t wait to share this European Night of Museums with you.
Saturday May 23, open until 11:00 pm
Storytelling segments (about 30 minutes each), sessions at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30 pm
    Free, all audiences

An original evening for lovers of contemporary art!
