Belle Époque guinguette evening at the Grenouillère Museum: discover Croissy’s Impressionists for the Night of Museums 2026

Housed in the former outbuildings of Château Chanorier, in Croissy-sur-Seine, is the Musée de la Grenouillère: a place of art and heritage, which protects and honors Impressionism. This museum in the Yvelines region offers an artistic stroll in the footsteps of the great Impressionist artists, thanks to its collections of paintings, prints and period objects. The museum focuses in particular on the café La Grenouillère, which attracted many strollers and artists at the end of the 19th century, and which was immortalized by these same artists.

This quirky museum is often little-known : we’re taking advantage of the new edition of the Nuit des Musées to visit it! This Saturday, May 23, 2026, the art venue opens its doors for free to all visitors, for a festive evening in a guinguette atmosphere.

  Soirée Guinguette ;

  The public is warmly welcomed with a free guided tour, followed by a guinguette evening during which attendees are invited to sing Belle Époque songs to the sound of the accordion. Visitors may continue the tour free of charge throughout the evening.

  Non-alcoholic drinks are available to the public.

  Members of the association present are invited to participate in period costumes.
