The Nuit des Musées 2026 is a prime chance to explore the Musée intercommunal de Nogent-sur-Marne, nestled in the Val-de-Marne. This annual event invites visitors to discover the collections of France’s museums in a festive, welcoming atmosphere. This year’s celebrations are planned for Saturday, May 23!
Housed in the Hôtel des Coignards, the Musée intercommunal de Nogent-sur-Marne now houses a collection of works of art and historical objects relating to the region, and more specifically the banks and loops of the Marne, its landscapes, engineering structures and architecture, through temporary and permanent exhibitions, as well as collections dedicated to the history of the town of Nogent-sur-Marne.
The Night of Museums 2026 at the Intercommunal Museum of Nogent-sur-Marne promises to be as artistic and pastoral as it is captivating, with activities for visitors of all ages. This special evening is the perfect chance to see the Intercommunal Museum of Nogent-sur-Marne in a new light (or, more precisely, a new night!), whether with friends or family.
Christelle Mandallaz (CE2 at Albert Thomas Elementary, Champigny-sur-Marne) and Sylvie Le Tosser (CM1-CM2 at Clémenceau A Elementary, Le Perreux-sur-Marne) are the two teachers who joined their classes in this year’s “The Class, the Artwork!” project with the museum.
Two works were taken out of the museum’s reserve for the occasion: the watercolor Clair de Lune à Cernay-la-Ville by Renaud Gaston (1901) and a contemporary gouache on paper: Petit paysage turquoise by Jacqueline Vignaud (1979). At night, an abstract landscape… what artistic outputs did the students manage to produce from these works?
The works, carried out under the guidance of the museum’s visiting artist, Nelson Aires, will be unveiled throughout the evening.
In the exhibition "The Art of Making People Drink: Drinks on Display (1890–1990)", the posters speak for themselves!
Lean in—the illustrated walls murmur... while at the bistro, the atmosphere is buzzing with bartenders who will extol the virtues of their favorite drinks in every form. And could the evening end without paying homage to the beverage that made Nogent famous, the little white wine?
The five performers on the bill will share this tailor-made piece coordinated by Claire Faucher Beaufort, in a contagiously enthusiastic mood!
