Art and heritage go hand in hand on Saturday, May 23, 2026, for the Night of Museums at the Meudon Museum of Art and History. Discover the lineup for this cultural after-hours event in Île-de-France.

The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Meudon is housed in a large 17th-century mansion, listed as a historic monument, surrounded by a magnificent flower garden adorned with sculptures.

Here you can admire works and documents relating to the history of Meudon, a town deeply rooted in French history, with its castles, heritage, prestigious sites and famous people, such as the Grand Dauphin, the Marquise de Pompadour and Auguste Rodin. The museum also houses an extensive collection of French landscape paintings dating from the 18th century to the present day, as well as a rare group of sculptures and paintings from the 1950s to 1980s, illustrating the Nouvelle Ecole Paris movement.

Weather permitting, we can also take a stroll in the museum's park, a veritable French garden, where we can discover monumental sculptures.

Looking to discover this museum? Then take advantage of the new edition of the Night of Museums to come admire the permanent collections at this art and culture venue! Meet us on Saturday 23 May 2026 to explore the program.
