Every year, Nuit des Musées invites us to discover our heritage in a whole new way, with a program of exceptional evening events at museums, monuments, châteaux, art foundations, cultural centers and other fascinating venues. In Paris and the greater Paris region, you'll find a wide panorama of outings and good deals, so much so that everyone can find a concept to suit his or her passion.

At each edition, we take advantage of visits that are often free, special activities including workshops, concerts, screenings, and much more for the delight of both young and old. This year, Night of Museums returns on Saturday, May 23, 2026 for its 22nd edition, which promises to be exceptionally rich.

Perfect timing, because for this new edition of the Nuit des Musées, the Musée de Montmartre is joining the party and unveils a special program meant to reveal this charming place from a fresh angle! The 2026 Night of Museums program at the Musée de Montmartre in Paris

  • A Dip into the Bohemian Pulse of the Renoir Gardens
    As part of Night of Museums 2026, the Montmartre Museum will open its doors exceptionally on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The event offers a unique immersion to relive the district’s unmistakable bohemian aura.
    The evening will be animated by exceptional artistic performances. Raphaëlle Hubin, renowned for the serpentine dance associated with Loïe Fuller, will host the night with three performances of these dreamy movements inspired by the early 20th century. Caricaturists will be on hand throughout to capture visitors in sketches.
    The sensory experience will continue with a curated musical program: a vinyl bar will provide a shaping soundscape, spanning decades from yesterday to today.
    In parallel with these performances, guests will be free to explore the museum’s permanent collections and the temporary exhibition “Adya & Otto van Rees. At the Heart of the Avant-Gardes,” all set in a historically enchanting backdrop. For Night of Museums, the Montmartre Museum seizes history to spotlight the artistic vitality that has long defined the neighborhood.
    This program, designed to be both accessible and convivial, celebrates the driving force of creativity in Montmartre’s culture and invites audiences of all kinds to rediscover this living heritage.
