A promising evening ahead... The Musée Carnavalet, a museum dedicated to the history of Paris, is taking part in the 22nd edition of the Nuit des Musées and offers us, Saturday, May 23, 2026, a brand-new event to be enjoyed at the start of the evening in the museum’s gardens.
The Carnavalet Museum traces the History of the capital, from prehistory to today, along a route that highlights more than 3,800 works and set pieces. A journey through the centuries, the cultures, and the eras. Archaeological remains, paintings, objects, costumes, scale models, pieces of urban furniture, reconstructed interiors: the Carnavalet Museum reveals the many faces Paris has worn over the ages.
These exceptional collections include some very well-known historical pieces, as well as unjustly forgotten treasures. The museum also offers regular temporary exhibitions, highlighting particular periods in history or artists who have fallen in love with the capital.
A stunning museum to discover without delay, one that often has a few surprises in store... Proof of that is the program for this 22nd Night of Museums.
