Fête de la Musique 2025: jazz takes over Studio 104 at Maison de la Radio

Once again this year, Radio France is celebrating music on several of its stations. France Musique invites you to Studio 104, on Saturday June 21, 2025 from 6pm, for a free public concert dedicated to jazz music! A not-to-be-missed highlight of the Fête de la Musique in Paris.

New Fête de la musique! This year, June 21 falls on a Friday, making for a long evening of music before the weekend. As every year at the same time, the French gather on June 21 to celebrate music in all its forms.

Whether on the streets, in parks, squares and gardens, in museums, churches or concert halls, the Fête de la Musique brings a smile to the faces of music lovers in need of a good music deal.

Launched in 1982, the Fête de la Musique is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a wide range of free concerts. From rock and rap to electro, rap, RnB, classical, jazz, blues, reggae, zouk and metal... all kinds of music are featured on this day. So there's no excuse not to celebrate music.

How about spending your Fête de la Musique 2025 at the Maison de la Radio? On Saturday, June 21, Radio France will be hosting several events throughout the day to celebrate this new edition of the Fête de la Musique in style!

While France Inter plans to occupy theOlympia, France Musique invites you to Studio 104 at the Maison Ronde from 6pm, to join three emerging jazz bands for a festive evening of live performance.

What's on the menu? Two hours of live music dedicated to jazz, concocted by Nathalie Piolé and Nicolas Pommaret. On June 21, France Musique invites the trio of Swiss double bassist Louise Knobil, Franco-Armenian pianist and singer Macha Gharibian, and Senegalese bassist and singer Alune Wade to Studio 104. As in previous years, admission is free, but subject to availability.

La fête du Jazz takes place at Studio 104 on June 21, 2025 from 6pm (free admission subject to availability), with :

  • The trio of Swiss double bassist Louise Knobil, and her whimsical, committed and singular universe, in the land of"jazz pailleté".
  • Franco-Armenian pianist and singer Macha Gharibian, and the repertoire of her latest album"Phenomenal Women".
  • Senegalese bassist and singer Alune Wade, linking Africa and America in"New African Orleans".
