While many people look forward to June 21, to celebrate the arrival of summer in style, others can't wait for the famous and unmissable Fête de la Musique. Every June 21 since 1982, the French take to the streets, bars and restaurants, parks and gardens, to make live music resound throughout the day and evening at free concerts.
In Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region, there's no shortage of good musical ideas, from rock concerts on café terraces to classical music in museums, jazz artists in churches and electro DJ sets in squares.
This year, June 21 falls on a Wednesday, and we might as well tell you right now, but there are plenty of musical events to look forward to, particularly in Essonne, where the commune of Breuillet is planning to get in step with the times, to ensure that its residents can enjoy a new and 41st edition of the Fête de la musique that's both convivial and festive.
So, what's on the musical agenda for this popular, free event that never gets old? On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, the town of Breuillet invites you to join us at 6pm in the Parc Moessner for an evening of rock, thanks to the presence of the talented group KO KO MO, programmed this summer at numerous festivals in France. And of course, admission is free, so make the most of it!
Starting at 6pm, three rock bands will perform. Kydam and Fallor, two bands from the region, will start things off with a set of catchy songs that's sure to get the crowd going.
The Fête de la Musique continues in Breuillet with the now-famous French rock band KO KO MO. You'd think there were fifty of them, but there are only two, and they've been putting on memorable shows all over Europe for almost 10 years. Come and discover them on June 21, 2023!
