The Fête de la Musique is back again this year in many towns in Seine-et-Marne. This year, once again, there's plenty of good music to choose from, particularly in Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region. If you live in Seine-et-Marne, for example, you'll be spoilt for choice. For Melun residents, head for Place Praslin on Saturday June 21, 2025. And, for the first time, the gardens of the Préfecture will be exceptionally open to the public and transformed into a veritable open-air stage!

For this year's Fête de la Musique, the city of Melun is preparing a wonderful evening of music, with a series of free concerts that are as entertaining as they are festive. Here's the program!

Fête de la musique 2025 in Melun, the program

Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 4pm - Free admission

• Discover the Jardins de la Préfecture
  Beneath the foliage, visitors can enjoy a jazz program by the Conservatoire de Melun, followed by the winners of the inter-school competition, and then a concert by the jazz group BOX BOX BOX, to round off this musical interlude. A sweet food truck will be on hand to treat you!
  
  
• The itinerant stage comes to you
  The itinerant stage returns this year to liven up the city center and its neighborhoods. From 6.30 pm to 12.30 am, DJ Réatha will offer an eclectic electro set, with successive stops at l'Almont, Mézereaux, Woodi, Montaigu, and a festive finale at Place Praslin.
  
  
• Place Praslin: open-air concerts from 9:15pm
  From 9:15pm, Place Praslin will be alive with three open-air concerts. On the program? Johana, Numah and Egide, talents from the Scène 77 program. DJ Réatha will close the evening.
