The Fête de la musique is coming back across France on Sunday, June 21, 2026, with a raft of deals and activities of every kind.
For over 40 years now, the French have been gathering in the streets, parks and gardens, as well as in bars, cafés and restaurants, to make live music resound for a whole day. A day during which budding musicians have the chance to express themselves, make themselves known and share their passion with as many people as possible: musicians like themselves, but also music lovers, curious onlookers in search of a party or even families, eager to share a warm, convivial moment.
Launched in France in 1982, the Fête de la Musique continues to thrill and enliven us every June 21, with a host of free concerts and DJ sets, most of them held outdoors. And as always, all musical styles are featured, from rock and rap to electro, jazz, world music, blues, French variety and R&B...
There's no shortage of events in Paris, but there's plenty of good stuff to do in the Île-de-France region too, as in Boulogne-Billancourt. The Hauts-de-Seine town is once again taking part in the Fête de la Musique, offering its residents a memorable, festive and convivial day out.
