Another Fête de la musique! Every year at the same time, France lives to the rhythm of this great and beautiful popular and festive event, celebrating amateur musicians and singers, eager to share their passion with as many people as possible.
So every June 21, music lovers in Paris and the Île-de-France region are spoiled for choice, with countless free concerts across the capital. From rock to rap, and blues to jazz, as well as electronic, classical, French song and reggae, there’s something for every taste!
There are also those who seek a quirky musical experience—an “unusual” Fête de la Musique. Here’s a tip you might like. Sunday, June 21, 2026, artists will take over the Hôpital National des 15-20.
Located in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, L’Hôpital National des 15-20 is a public health facility specializing in ophthalmology. As a reference hospital for vision-related pathologies, the Hôpital des 15-20 helped establish, in 2018, the Institute Hospitalo-Universitaire (IHU) FOReSIGHT with the Institut de la Vision, aiming to accelerate tomorrow’s ophthalmology care by speeding up therapeutic innovation and broadening access to care for all.
L'Hôpital National des 15-20 will therefore join the new Fête de la Musique lineup and invites you to a free concert evening on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., blending pop and unifying sounds, with performances by Lancelot, Nina Battisti, and Funky Luciano.
For Paris residents, but also for patients, their loved ones and the healthcare staff, this concert is open to everyone who wants to experience this festive moment in a historic and unusual venue in the capital! This concert, held on the forecourt of the National Hospital of 15-20, is open to all (no registration required).

On Sunday, June 21, just steps from Place de la Bastille, the National Hospital for 15–20 opens its doors and invites the public to discover a place as surprising as it is remarkable, briefly transformed into an open-air music stage for the evening.
Now well established in its programming, this soirée brings together each year patients, families, healthcare professionals, local residents, and curious passersby. All generations come together in a warm, friendly atmosphere. An event open to all, and one of the hospital’s highlights.
Behind the scenes lies a place steeped in history: founded in the Middle Ages during the reign of Saint Louis, the National Hospital for 15–20 is France’s oldest establishment dedicated to vision care. Located on the site of the former Black Musketeer barracks, it preserves a rare architectural heritage — a porch, a concierge’s lodge, a chapel — giving the evening a distinctive backdrop that blends heritage with modernity.
As a center of ophthalmology, the hospital uses this event to reaffirm its commitment to opening its doors, fostering connection, and offering moments of respite that are accessible to all, right at the heart of a care setting.
For this edition, the program shines a spotlight on an emerging French scene with Lancelot, Nina Battisti, and Funky Luciano, delivering a luminous, unifying pop evening.
Program highlights:
- Lancelot is a singer-songwriter who embodies a new form of masculinity: sensitive, modest, counter to stereotypes. His second EP Pas assez, released June 6, 2025, explores vulnerability, expectations, the need for love, and the pressure to be “up to it.”
With a soft, deep voice, sincere lyrics, and an androgynous presence, Lancelot blurs the lines and offers music that is alive, fragile, and radiant. His songs are a refuge for those who never feel quite enough, yet remain profoundly human.
- Nina Battisti is a 23-year-old artist who chronicles the tremors of love by reimagining the grand French chanson tradition, in the vein of Véronique Sanson. A Corsican by birth, she left her island at 17 to settle in Paris and quickly established herself within the new pop generation.
After two well-received EPs (Foutus bagages, 2026, and Le Cabaret des Pleurs, 2025) and full-length shows at La Maroquinerie and Les Trois Baudets, she confirms her place in the French song landscape by paying homage to it while situating it firmly in her era.
- Funky Luciano: a six-piece band whose lively energy is fueled by funk covers from the 70s and 80s and groovy rearrangements of big classics.
Funky Luciano will set the perfect vibe for dancing, singing, shouting, and releasing your inner demon to blistering rhythms.
