Ready to party to music? Good news—the Fête de la musique is back on Sunday, June 21, 2026 with a host of free concerts of every stripe!
Every year, some people pull their hair out trying to pick the best electro good deal, the standout classical music concert, the unmissable quirky event, or the must-see fashionably cool concert.
This June 21, the line-up for the Music Day is as abundant as ever, and as diverse as the genre spread—from rock and rap to jazz, blues, classical, reggae, electro, French chanson, and beyond—delighting music lovers of all ages.
Once again, a richly packed program awaits on Sunday, June 21 for this year’s Music Day, including events in Saint-Denis. Note that the cities of Saint-Denis and Pierrefitte-sur-Seine officially merged on January 1, 2025, forming a new commune. With about 150,000 residents, it is now Île-de-France’s second-most populous city after Paris!
In 2026, Saint-Denis is once again taking part in the grand, beloved, people-powered celebration that is the Fête de la musique. The Île-de-France town of Seine-Saint-Denis invites residents to feel the rhythm on June 21 at Place Victor Hugo, in front of the iconic Basilique. This year’s lineup features the renowned Algerian rapper Soolking, who will deliver a free concert! Right before him, French rapper of Ivorian-Congolese origin, Landy, will take the stage.
