The World Festival and Fête de la Musique are set to take over the park at the Château de Morsang-sur-Orge for three days of free, open-air celebrations from June 19 to 21, 2026, in Essonne.

The Festival du Monde and the Fête de la Musique are at the heart of Morsang en Fête 2026, a major cultural and family-friendly event held at the parc du Château de Morsang-sur-Orge (91390), in Essonne, from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June 2026. Three days of free outdoor activities open to all, featuring concerts, dancing, crafts, gastronomy and good vibes. We were there last year, and the lush setting along the Orge river turns each edition into a true summer escape, just a stone's throw from Paris.

What does Morsang-en-Fête 2026 look like?

The kickoff starts on Friday, June 19 at 6 p.m. with the Apéro Chill, the perfect moment to unwind as the weekend begins. Sun loungers, a DJ set, and a relaxed vibe: exactly what we came for after a long week. Simple, effective, and free.

The weekend’s centerpiece is Saturday, June 20, with the Festival du Monde, from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM. This 2026 edition centers on the theme "Morsang Beyond the Seas": overseas cultures take the spotlight, from Réunion to New Caledonia, including Mayotte, Madagascar, and the Caribbean. Expect a blend of music, dance, crafts, and Creole cuisine, with stalls and activities that truly feel like a voyage—without ever leaving Essonne.
