Will the sun be out for this new edition of the Fête de la Musique à Paris, or will we have to adapt to the rain? That’s what we’re here to find out. So, what weather should we expect this Sunday, June 21, 2026 in the Paris region?

La Chaîne Météo reports a scorching heat peak for Music Day and the summer solstice. "This heatwave is linked to the Azores anticyclone that will be firmly in place over the country. But the unstable air over the Atlantic could bring storms, though the timing is still to be determined," notes the weather expert.

According to Météo France, on the morning of June 21, the sun will shine across the entire Île-de-France region and it will already be very hot, with temperatures hovering between 30°C and 32°C. In the afternoon, the heat will rise further, with Paris expecting around 38°C. Temperatures could even reach 40°C. Once again, the sunshine will dominate the Île-de-France area, though a few drops could fall in the northern part of the region. On Sunday evening, as the Fête de la musique heats up, Météo France predicts dry conditions and still-elevated temperatures around 31°C.
