As every year, France Télévisions celebrates Music Day! This year, get ready to discover not one, but two extraordinary music evenings. Both will be broadcast live from the legendary Théâtre antique d'Orange.
On Friday, June 19, 2026, the grand show "Musiques en fête" lights up, to be aired on France 3 and on France Musique. For this exclusive evening, Judith Chaine and Cyril Féraud will celebrate the 15th anniversary of "Musiques en fête", a night of the Chorégies d'Orange dedicated to sharing and emotion. Viewers will be invited to embark on a musical journey through the finest pages of opera, as well as operetta, musical theatre, gospel and great classics of French chanson. For the occasion, a host of artists will take the stage, such as Julie Fuchs, Marina Viotti, Patrick Fiori or Florian Sempey and Anne Sila. To elevate the evening, the performers will be accompanied by the Orchestre national de Cannes, conducted by Ariane Matiakh, Didier Benetti and the young conductor Clément Lonca, as well as by the artists of the Chœur de Parme.
Then, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, the eve of Music Day, viewers will tune in to France 2 for a grand musical evening, broadcast live from the Ancient Theatre of Orange. This time, Laury Thilleman will helm the event, promising a big, popular celebration that's festive, unifying, and intergenerational. Expect live performances, brand-new duets, and timeless hits, with guests including Marine (Star Aademy), Claudio Capéo, Faudel, Miki, Magic System, Tayc, Sheila, and Christophe Willem.
