Fête de la musique 2026 : an electro open-air event beneath Paris’s iconic pedestrian bridge.

The Fête de la musique is back on Sunday, June 21, 2026 with a raft of free concerts to discover in Paris and across France!

The fête de la musique was created in 1982 by Jack Lang and a number of his collaborators to promote music in all its forms. On this day, amateur and professional musicians are invited to share their art with as many people as possible, through concerts gratuits held in streets and public venues. This popular cultural event draws millions of French people each year, lovers of music and celebration.

For more than 40 years now, the Fête de la musique has been the occasion for budding musicians and singers to let all kinds of music resound in the streets, squares, parks and gardens, in churches and even museums. And every June 21, all genres of music are put in the spotlight: rock, metal, rap, hip-hop, classical, jazz, blues, zouk, salsa, reggae...

In 2026, the Fête de la musique is once again serving up a meticulously curated program with can't-miss tips, standout artists, unconventional concerts, and a spotlight on classical music, as well as more electro shows. It will take place under the Simone de Beauvoir Bridge. The famous pedestrian-and-bike-friendly bridge, the Simone de Beauvoir Bridge, is Paris’s 37th crossing over the Seine. Located between the Bercy and Tolbiac bridges, the bridge links the banks of the 12th and 13th arrondissements.

For Music Day 2026, an electro open-air concert is scheduled on the quays, beneath the famous Simone de Beauvoir footbridge, on June 21 from 2 p.m. to midnight!
