This year, the new edition of Music Day is also being celebrated at the Guimet Museum in Paris! For the occasion, the stunning National Museum of Asian Arts invites you, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, on a musical journey to South Korea.

The Fête de la musique is back every year on June 21, and this year celebrates its 43rd anniversary! As always, the Fête de la Musique is an opportunity to get out your instruments and sing your favorite tunes loud and clear in the street. But the event, established in 1982 at the instigation of then Minister of Culture Jack Lang, is also the perfect time to discover new talent or attend concerts by established artists. Every June 21, budding bands and artists take to the streets of Paris and the Ile-de-France region, while others bring the house down in concert halls, museums, churches and parks and gardens.

For a whole day, the Fête de la musique is an opportunity to celebrate music in all its forms (classical, jazz, rock, metal, rap, French variety, reggae, pop, zouk, electro...) in a spirit of joy and good humor!

This year, for the new Fête de la musique, why not celebrate this popular event in one of the capital's famous and sublime museums? The Musée Guimet, a cultural venue dedicated to Asian arts in the capital's 16th arrondissement, is taking part in the event with a concert that's an invitation to travel.
