For this 2026 edition of the Fête de la Musique, you don’t need to head to Bercy or the Stade de France: the city of Montigny-le-Bretonneux, in the Yvelines, has everything you need to have you singing and dancing all evening long!
So mark your calendar for this Saturday, June 20, 2026, on the Town Hall forecourt to enjoy a lineup that is free, refreshing and festive, kicking off at 7:00 p.m. Children and adults alike can gather in front of this music stage to share a moment of popular, family-friendly celebration to the sound of fiery rhythms.
The Fête de la Musique was launched in France in 1982: the idea of the Ministry of Culture at the time quickly won over the public, and the event has become an unmissable celebration every year. The aim is to bring together the French and visitors to the country, while celebrating music in all its forms. Singers and musicians, fans of rock, blues, rap, classical music, pop, samba, Gregorian chant (which is rarer) and French chanson all come together for a memorable evening.
In every town and city, in parks, streets and squares across France, performers and revelers come together for an exceptional popular celebration. Discover the program of festivities planned for Montigny-le-Bretonneux this year.
Join us on Saturday, June 20, on the Town Hall forecourt for a festive, welcoming evening. Two stages will be set up to deliver nonstop live music throughout the night. This year, the groups from the Forum des Arts Charles Aznavour (FACA) take center stage! Here’s what’s on the program:
So, are you ready to celebrate music in the Yvelines through a variety of musical styles?
