Every year on the same date, the Fête de la Musique returns to Paris and the rest of France. For a whole day, budding musicians and singers take to the streets to make live music resound. Rock, rap, hip-hop, punk, classical, electro, reggae, jazz, soul, funk, blues, metal and French variety are all represented on this day.
Every June 21, amateur and professional artists and groups take to the sidewalks, squares, squares and gardens, bars and restaurants, museums and churches to celebrate music in all its forms.
There's no shortage of concerts in Paris. And elsewhere in the Ile-de-France region, there are plenty of good ideas, like in Val-de-Marne. In this département, numerous events are organized for the Fête de la musique, as in Ivry-sur-Seine. Every year in June, this commune in the 94 region organizes its " Ivry en fête " event. The concept? A major celebration featuring concerts, municipal and association stands, tastings, discoveries and entertainment for young and old alike.
This year again, "Ivry en fête" coincides with World Music Day and invites you to gather on the l’esplanade de l’Hôtel de Ville on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June 2026, with a host of great music happenings on the slate. Notably, Naza and Amel Bent will perform for free on Saturday evening, followed by the artist Rim'K live on Sunday. As always, entry is free and open!
