In June, there's no shortage of events in Paris, including Nuit Blanche, the Gay Pride March, festivals such as Solidays, not to mention the famous and unmissable Fête de la Musique. This year, a new event is likely to be the talk of the town: France Music Week. Announced last year by Emmanuel Macron, this major popular event aims to " promote the excellence of French artists and the French music industry ".
For one week, from Monday June 16 to Saturday June 21, 2025, France Music Week will offer events across the country, enabling as many people as possible to discover artists from a wide variety of backgrounds (jazz, rap, variety, electro, metal...).
What's on the agenda? Meetings for those who make music in France and around the world, as well as conferences and round-table discussions. France Music Week will also feature a number of highlights for the general public, including a closing concert at a " first-of-its-kind " venue in Paris.
So, where will this musical event take place on Saturday June 21, 2025, the day of the Fête de la Musique, from 9pm to 12:30am? The concert will take place in the Carrousel garden, in the heart of the Louvre Museum grounds. The concert is also free of charge, and will be broadcast live on France Télévisions and Radio France's ICI network. Please note, however, that you'll need to register here to gain access to this concert in the sumptuous gardens of the Musée du Louvre. Please note that this event is now sold out.
As for the line-up for this closing concert of France Music Week, it promises to be a festive one, with the presence of Camille, Christine and the Queens, Jeanne Added and the group La Femme. Also announced are Keren Ann, Bernard Lavilliers, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Malik Djoudi, Miss Monique, Solann, cellist Sol Gabetta and Youssef Swatt's.
Everyone will take to the stage for a show"inspired by Victor Hugo's phrase 'Music is noise that thinks'", as the official website puts it. The event will feature"the most beautiful songs from the protest song repertoire of the last 60 years: 'The Partisan', 'What's Going On', 'Résiste', 'Redemption Song', 'What's Up', 'Les Émigrants'...".

We remind you that the Olympic cauldron will also make its return on June 21, rising into the Parisian sky during this major Fête de la Musique concert.
