Attention music lovers, party-goers and lovers of open-air parties - on Saturday, June 21, 2025, plug in the amps, heat up the turntables and get out the checkered tablecloths for another Fête de la Musique in Carrières-sur-Seine!

Since 1982, every June 21, France has been ablaze... with the rhythm of instruments. A legacy of the Ministry of Culture, born to give a voice - and the tempo - to amateur and established musicians alike. More than 40 years later, this free, popular and joyously unbridled festival has set the Hexagon, from Paris to the smallest towns, abuzz with a single mission: to get the heart of the country beating to the sound of all styles. Rock, rap, jazz, electro, zouk, classical or hip-hop, there's something for everyone at the Fête de la Musique!

And if you're in the Yvelines region (78), there are plenty of great places to visit, starting with Carrières-sur-Seine. This year, the town is rolling out the red carpet for local artists, transforming the town hall park into an open-air venue from 3pm. A chill atmosphere and a cascade of concerts await you, not to mention a free aperitif, free access to barbecues (equipment provided), food trucks to satisfy the smallest appetites... and a firework display to make the evening explode in style.
