Would you like to celebrate music in style this year? Join us this Saturday, June 21, 2025, for the traditional Fête de la musique! For over 40 years now, this event has been an opportunity to celebrate young musicians and singers. In the streets, but also in bars and restaurants, parks and gardens, churches, museums and institutions, live music resonates for a whole day to the rhythm of jazz, blues, rap, electro, rock, classical, zouk, funk and variety.
Once again this year, we're announcing a whole host of great events in Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region. If you're looking for concerts in an atypical and emblematic venue, then head for the sublime Hôtel de Rochechouart. Known as the home of the French Ministry of Education, the Hôtel de Rochechouart was built at the request of the Marquise de Courteille for her only daughter, wife of the Comte de Rochechouart, in 1776. In 1829, the hotel was transferred to the Ministry of Education.
The Hôtel de Rochechouart opens its doors to the public this Saturday, June 21, 2025, to mark the new Fête de la Musique, with a magnificent library dating back to 1858, and the office of the Minister of Education.
On the program? A party in the colors of the France-Brazil 2025 Season, with a second part open to the general public, featuring a concert by Virginia Cambuci (carimbo, forro, choro) and a DJ set by Casey Ryback (electro, pop, Brazilian funk).
