An evening of listening to French punk while admiring street art—does that tempt you? To make the most of this deal, head to Spot 13 in Paris on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Attention : due to the red heat alert, some events of the Music Day 2026 may be canceled, postponed, or altered. Check the information before you head out.

A new edition of Fête de la Musique lands this year on a Sunday. It’s a chance to enjoy this beautiful musical evening without the stress, right in the middle of the weekend.

As every year at this time, all kinds of music take center stage: rap, rock, pop, electronic, classical, jazz, blues, reggae—or even metal, R&B, salsa... For a full day, aspiring musicians dust off their instruments and hit the streets to let live music ring out.

Since 1982, the launch year of the Fête de la musique in France, this popular and festive event has become a chance to gather with friends, family, or a partner around music in all its forms. While many concerts take place in the street, in squares, parks and gardens, or in cafés, bars and restaurants, some artists take over des lieux insolites, such as churches or even spots de street art!

This year, Spot 13, a temple of open-air urban art in Paris, is taking part in the Fête de la musique. For those who haven’t heard of Spot 13, note that it is an association dedicated to promoting urban art through the management and operation of any public or private space placed at its disposal. Spot 13 is also known for hosting an outdoor exhibition space. Urban art lovers flock to the 13th arrondissement of Paris to admire murals by Parisian, regional, and international artists, both emerging and established. The frescoes are continually refreshed, allowing a fresh discovery of the site with every visit. Since its creation, more than 300 artists have exhibited at Spot 13, while places are frequently filled—about 200 visitors per week, i.e. over 11,000 visitors per year!

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, for the new Music Day, Spot 13 opens its doors to punk music and welcomes about fifteen bands celebrating this essential genre. Entitled "Les punks parisiens prennent l'air 4", this event invites you to join from 1 p.m. to groove to the rhythms of acts such as Kankre, Pourquoi Pas, Ghost Bastards, Poulpe Friction, and Les Caballeros and Katillers.
