The Fête de la musique returns to Paris and the Ile-de-France region on June 21, with a rich and eclectic program. While some are on the lookout for unusual concerts, others are on the lookout for must-see events. Here's one of the great free concerts on offer especially for the Fête de la Musique , not to be missed in Paris !
Starting at 1pm onWednesday June 21, 2023, the Ministry of Culture will once again be welcoming music lovers of all ages to the gardens of the Palais-Royal for an eclectic evening of music, women and inclusivity. And a fête de la musique means free concerts! A word of advice: don't be late if you want a front-row seat!
On June 21, Ministry of Culture staff will take to the stage in the early afternoon, followed by amateur musicians.
Then, from 7.10pm onwards, it's time for the professional artists to take to the stage, again with free admission. But this year, the Ministry of Culture wants to make the 41st Fête de la Musique an inclusive event. So"in order to promote access to music for all, the evening's concerts will be redesigned for the first time", says the Ministry in a press release issued on June 13. Texts, rhythms and energies will be song-signed by members of the INTEGRAAL collective. Thanks to them, the deaf and hard-of-hearing will be able to enjoy the concerts on offer from 7pm to 10pm!
On the menu for this June 21 evening in the gardens of the Palais-Royal? The Proquartet, the talented Eesah Yasuke and Mentissa, recently nominated at the Victoires de la musique awards.
Please note that these concerts are free of charge and with free admission (access via Place Colette, in the 1st arrondissement).
