Those of you planning to celebrate music on June 21, please raise your hands! Okay, I see there are a lot of you. At the same time, the Fête de la musique is that popular, festive event that everyone loves.
Launched in 1982 in France, the Fête de la musique has since come a long way, and is now celebrated abroad too. The idea? For an entire day and evening, free concerts by amateur and professional musicians bring live music to life. Every June 21, there's a wide range of music on offer, from pop and rap to rock and metal, jazz and blues, classical and electro.
And it's not always easy to choose which event to attend. If you live in Chelles in the Île-de-France region, then the following might interest you! As it does every year, this town in the Seine-et-Marne region welcomes a wide variety of bands to delight the ears and eyes of its residents. So, what can we expect this year? What's on the musical program in Chelles for this year's Fête de la musique?
