As every year at the same moment, music takes center stage thanks to the many musicians – amateurs and professionals – who take part in this big, popular, and celebratory event by delivering delicious musical moments.

Whether you’re into rock, rap, reggae, classical, jazz, blues, French chanson, or even electronic… the Fête de la musique is the occasion to feel the pulse of every possible musical style.

This year, the fête falls on a Sunday. A perfect excuse for a great weekend evening of music. And to be upfront: the lineup is shaping up to be rich and lively in Paris and throughout Île-de-France. Once again, the Fête de la musique is pulling out all the stops, offering a slew of music-related deals, notably in Vincennes.

City Hall Plaza

3:00 PM to 4:00 PM: The accordions from the Accord, Nacre and Soufflets association
5:00 PM to 8:00 PM: The Africa Korazon association invites you to practice, or simply to watch demonstrations of Cuban salsa in a joyful, friendly atmosphere, accompanied by DJ Olivier L’Duro
From 8:30 PM: Carte blanche to the MADAM collective, created by Vincennes native Léa Piacentini, bringing together emerging musicians with very diverse musical styles

Pierre-Semard Square

5 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Space for Vincennes’ amateur artists
Join us to listen to and cheer on those who are celebrating music: winners of the Tremplin des jeunes talents (Adrianna, Tasha & Léa Clara), duos (JEYP) or bands (Psyche Bound, Fire Phœnix), with performances ranging from chanson and pop to rock, funk, electro, blues, plus original songs and covers

Church Square

From 6 p.m.: join Jean-Philippe Baldassari and the AIMA association (Association of Instrumentalists, Musicians and Artists), the AMAC jazz ensemble, and the Villa D’Este jazz group

Midday Street

3pm–5pm: The band Élan Éphémère, free-spirited pop from the 70s to the present

Diderot Square

5:00 PM–10:30 PM: AMAC (Association for Adult Music at the Conservatory) presents a carte blanche program featuring chamber music, a jazz choir, jazz ensembles, the Latino ensemble, and the Éléphanfare brass band.
