    Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight

A Breath of Love in the Night Has Passed*, Video Works from the Collection and a Poetry Reading, 2026
The Fondation Louis Vuitton presents A Breath of Love in the Night Has Passed, an evening designed to echo the theme of this edition. The program brings together a selection of video works drawn from the Fondation’s Collection, plus four invited poets to declaim texts around the theme of love. For one night, the Fondation Louis Vuitton Auditorium becomes a space for sharing and dialogue where the power of words meets the force of images. The gathering offers a plural chorus of voices to evoke love in all its richness: ardor, relationships, breakups, doubts, desires—emotions deeply human, to be felt together, in unison. As Barbara Butch reminds us, by placing love at the heart of the collective experience—as both driving force, message, and precious jewel to be shared—this event celebrates what connects us: a universal language.

With videos by: Valie Export, Tao Hui, Valérie Mréjen, Youssef Nabil, Anri Sala, Ming Wong. With the poets: Selim-a Atallah Chettaoui, Rim Battal, Karim Kattan, Nantène Traoré.
