This Saturday October 6, 2018 impressive White Night 2018 installation, the Géode will electrify the Parc de la Villette from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. At nightfall, the Géode will turn into a giant Tesla coil launching threatening sounds and dropping electric pikes.
The brain behind this crazy experiment, TremensS, an engineer who conducts experiments orchestrated by a software program. For this Night of the art creation, TremensS will recreate the Wardenclyffe tower, the lab where Nikola Tesla used to experiment the wireless energy transmission!
In addition to this open-air experiment, La Villette will welcome dozens of art installations. For example, Fabien Léaustic will hypnotize us with a red geyser for a muddy flood flowing into the pool, at controlled moments, “seems like an organized disastrous show”. The Cité des Enfants and the Cité des Sciences will also be accessible until 10 p.m.
