Le Pavillon des Indes takes part in the new edition of Nuit Blanche in Paris and Île-de-France this Saturday, June 6, 2026. Discover the evening's artistic lineup.

In June, you get access until midnight—and even more! The Nuit Blanche is back for another edition, and you won’t want to miss it. Each year, this major cultural event puts contemporary art in the spotlight, transforming Paris and its surroundings into an open-air museum.

This Saturday, June 6, 2026, we’ll once again be treated to a festive, offbeat and spellbinding program that will carry us through the night. Exhibitions, installations, screenings, concerts, shows, performances — art is everywhere, and it takes many forms.

If you’re in the Hauts-de-Seine for this special evening, good news: there are plenty of activities on offer in the department. We’re slated to meet in Courbevoie to discover the Pavillon des Indes and its unique nocturnal program.

The Indies Pavilion is an architectural curiosity built for the 1878 Exposition Universelle. Listed as a historic monument, this striking site today hosts a residency program for young artists in residence. This space for creation and exhibition has become a nurturing cocoon for the next generation of major contemporary artists in Paris and the Île-de-France region.

Dive into the world of Araks Sahakyan
On the occasion of Nuit Blanche, the City of Courbevoie invites you to explore the prolific, colorful universe of its artist-in-residence, Araks Sahakyan, who began her residency at the Pavillon des Indes on May 1, 2026.
Based in a uniquely historic and poetic setting, this residency unfolds in a space that fosters experimentation and contemporary creation.
Born in Armenia in 1990, Araks Sahakyan grew up in Spain before settling in Paris in 2014. A transdisciplinary artist, she crafts a vivid, vibrant universe that blends marker drawings, performance, and installation, shaped by her cross‑border journey.
Her recent research centers on the motif of water as a physical, imagined, and political space. A high-level freediver, she weaves this demanding discipline into her artistic practice, fueling reflections on breath, the body, time, and introspection.
For one night, let yourself be swept away by an immersive exhibition and installation in a singular venue!
Special access to the artist’s studio. Open, self-guided exhibition.
