For the first time, amateur runners will be able to run an Olympic marathon, the Marathon for All, on the same course as the athletes, during the Paris 2024 Games. The race will take place on August 10, 2024 at dusk! How to participate, we tell you everything?

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games is thesporting event of the decade not to be missed in the capital! If everyone wants to have access to it, the places will be limited, between the ticketing and the contests set up by many partner organizations. And the Marathon for All will only be accessible to the luckiest ones, who will be able to run on the same course as the Olympic athletes, on August 10, 2024 from 9pm for the marathon and from 11:30pm for the 10k.

A total of 20,024 bibs for the 42.195km race and the same number for the 10km race will be distributed free of charge. This is the first time that the flagship race of the Olympic Games is accessible to the general public. The Marathon for All will also start at theHôtel de Ville and finish on theesplanade des Invalides. The 42,195 kmrace , identical to the one for marathon runners, is aimed at regular athletes, as the course is particularly difficult. The 10km race, on the other hand, can be run by everyone, from 16 years old, even those with disabilities.

How to win a number for the Marathon for All? There are three ways to win the Grail until 2024: register on the Club Paris 2024, download the Marathon pour tous mobile app or follow the Instagram account @teamorangerunning.

The Club Paris 2024 website allows you to create a community around the Paris 2024 Games, especially through sports challenges. To win a bib, you have to participate in these fun challenges that are accessible to all, organized four times a year or accumulate points on the site. To do so, you just have to log on to the site when you go running, walking or cycling, all activities that earn you precious points. You will need 100,000 points before December 31, 2023 to participate in a draw that will award bibs to the lucky ones.

With the Marathon pour tous application, it is possible to win race numbers only for the 42,195km, by participating in race challenges, alone or in teams. Less accessible, this solution is aimed at sports and running enthusiasts, who can use it to work on their physical preparation. Finally, the Instagram account team Orange Running regularly offers competitions around French races, including the Marathon pour Tous!
