2024 Olympic Games: Paris City Hall to recruit 5,000 volunteers

During the two weeks of the ParisOlympic Games, between July 26 and August 11, 2024, the city hopes to welcome between 13 and 15 million tourists from around the world. And to welcome them, guide them and inform them, the city hall of Paris plans to hire nearly 5,000 volunteers, according to revelations of the Journal du Dimanche. They will not be the only ones to be invested with such a mission, the committee of organization of the games is going to engage him also of the personnel, but in bigger number, 30 000 to 50 000 places are to be filled.

Pierre Rabadan, the deputy mayor of Paris in charge of sports and the Olympics, told the weekly newspaper that the city expects between 20,000 and 25,000 candidates. You can of course apply, according to the deputy, the ideal candidate will have to speak several languages, know Paris inside out and have experience in this field. Volunteers will be fed during their working hours and may be offered seats to attend competitions.
