The Play it Again! festival, which celebrates 'old films', returns from September 19 to 29, 2025 in Paris and throughout France, for an 11th edition that promises to be full of (re)discoveries!

The Play it Again! festival returns for its 11th edition, scheduled from September 19 to 29, 2025. In Paris, the Ile-de-France region and the rest of France, yesterday's films are brought to life in today's cinemas. It's a real treat for cinephiles who want to discover or rediscover the classics of the 7th Art.

Created in 2015 on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the CNC, the Play It Again! festival is a time for sharing and exchange, built around numerous screenings of repertory films andanimations across France. This year, 207 French cinemas are taking part in this cultural event. On the program: cult films, ciné-concerts, ciné-quizzes and encounters!

For this 2025 edition, 18 films are on the program, including Dominik Moll's Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien, Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West , Wong Kar-wai's 2046 , and David Fincher's Seven. Discover the full program below! For the opening night, Patrice Chéreau's Queen Margot will be shown in its restored version in over 100 cinemas.

Julien Duvivier's Poil de carotte, Michel Hazanavicius' OSS 117 Le Caire nid d'espions, Claude Chabrol's Le Boucher, Gianfranco De Bosio' s Le Terroriste, and Jacqueline Audry's Olivia are all part of the Ciné Inclusif program designed by CCRA, Matmut pour les arts and the Les Yeux Dits association. These audio-described and subtitled screenings will be accompanied by meetings on accessibility issues.
