Il a déjà tes yeux: a comedy about adoption and prejudice

Il a déjà tes yeux (He's Already Got Your Eyes) is a French comedy directed by Lucien Jean-Baptiste, which takes a light-hearted but lucid look at a little-trodden subject:transracial adoption. Paul and Sali, a black couple, adopt a blond, blue-eyed white baby. A situation that provokes incomprehension among their families and friends. The film is based on an effective social comedy, with Aïssa Maïga and Lucien Jean-Baptiste sincerely portraying a couple confronted with the absurdity of prejudice. Zabou Breitman completes the cast, playing a central role in the adoption process.
