Synopsis:

After the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) struggles to reconcile his life as a superhero with his responsibilities as a father. But his thoughts on the consequences of his choices turn sour when Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) give him a new and urgent mission... Scott will have to put on his costume and learn to fight alongside The Wasp in order to shed light on long buried secrets...

Review :

Ant-Man and The Wasp is indeed the cure for the gloomy end ofAvengers: Infinity War, with a present but discreet humor, dynamic action scenes and a fairly dense rhythm. The character of Hope Van Dyne is well exploited, making The Wasp a real superhero and not just another sidekick. The secondary characters (Luis, Cassie, Woo...) bring some freshness and humor to a family movie that tends, from time to time, towards the drama with several very touching scenes. Beside that, Ant-Man and the Wasp frustrates us a little by its lack of ambition with a scenario without stake and without asperity, an ending a little bit wasted, but the film remains a pleasant entertainment to watch with the family. The first post-generic scene had us hooked, and is a determining factor for the next Marvel movies to come. Be sure to stick around until the end!
