Golden Globes 2024: Anatomy of a Fall and Oppenheimer are the big winners

The 81st Golden Globes ceremony took place in the USA on Sunday, January 7. Oppenheimer and Poor Creatures were crowned best films, but the French Anatomy of a Fall was not to be outdone with two fine awards.

The Golden Globes have been known to kick off the awards season in Hollywood, and the list of winners for the year 2024 is now known, following the ceremony presented this Sunday, January 7. The list includes the films and series that made 2023 such as Barbie, Oppenheimer, and, as a surprise, the French film Anatomie d'une Chute, already a Palme d'Or winner, picked up two awards, for Best Screenplay and Best Foreign Film. Oppenheimer was the big winner with five awards. In the series category, Succession won the most major awards.
