The 22nd Fête du cinéma d'animation in October 2023: highlights in Paris

A worldwide event, the Fête du cinéma d' animation is back for its 22nd edition. In France, numerous events will be held across the country to pay tribute to this cinema , so important to the 7th art industry. Around the world, nearly 900 events will take place from October 11 to 31, 2023, and more than 1,000 are expected.

In France, the event is coordinated by the Association Française du Cinéma d'Animation (AFCA), which is organizing a tour with director and guest of honor Eléa Gobbé-Mévellec. Ten screenings-meetings are being organized across the country around the theme of "Dreams and obsessions", with proposals for all ages.

In Paris and the Île-de-France region, the AFCA is preparing a full program, with the following highlights:

Tuesday, October 10, 8pm, Majestic Bastille cinema (Paris)

• Prix Emile-Reynaud: screening in the presence of the film teams and presentation of the prize, awarded to a French animated short film by AFCA members.
