Open-air cinema returns to Les Invalides! Once again this year, we'll be taking over the monument's Cour du Dôme for three evening film screenings, from September 4 to 6, 2025.

For several years now, Invalides has been hosting a special event at dusk in September. September 4, 5 and 6, 2025 will see the fifth edition of Les Invalides font leur cinéma, a series of open-air film screenings in the heart of the Parisian monument.

From 8pm, film buffs are invited to the Cour du Dôme, for a movie night like no other. With blankets and blankets over their shoulders (recommended for cold-weather viewing), participants attend a screening of a film for all audiences, more or less recent.

This annual festival is organized by the Mairie du 7e arrondissement, in conjunction with the Gouverneur militaire de Paris. Admission to each screening is 10 euros, with proceeds going to associations supporting wounded soldiers and bereaved military families. Registration is required for this charity event. Please note that the price paid is considered a donation, and will not be reimbursed in the event of cancellation.

For its fifth edition, Les Invalides will be presenting three films that have made a mark on audiences and box-office in recent years. Discover the program.

The program for this 2025 edition at Les Invalides:

  • Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 8:30pm
Le sens de la fête by Olivier NAKACHE and Éric TOLEDANO
Max has been a caterer for thirty years. He's organized hundreds of parties. Today it's a sublime wedding in a 17th-century château, just one more - that of Pierre and Héléna. As usual, Max has coordinated everything, but the law of series is about to upset a schedule where every moment of happiness and emotion risks turning into disaster or chaos.
    Registration required

  • Friday, September 5, 2025 at 8:30pm
Very Special Agents: Code U.N.C.L.E by Guy RITCHIE
In the early 1960s, during the Cold War, CIA agent Napoleon Solo is forced to collaborate with KGB agent Illya Kuryakin to fight an international criminal organization. These two agents, with their very different styles, have only one lead: the daughter of a missing German scientist, who is the only one who can infiltrate the criminal organization.
    Registration required

  • Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 8:30pm
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre de La Patellière, Matthieu Delaporte
In the presence of the film's cast and crew (subject to confirmation)
The victim of a plot, young Edmond Dantès is arrested on his wedding day for a crime he did not commit. After fourteen years in the Château d'If, he manages to escape. Now immensely wealthy, he returns as the Count of Monte Cristo to take revenge on the three men who betrayed him.
    Registration required

The doors to the Cour du Dôme des Invalides open 30 minutes before the start of the screening: we recommend you come early to get a good seat in front of the ephemeral cinema screen.
